Join us for a fun
week of bear making, camaraderie and all around bear craziness! Learn basic to
advanced techniques from zen-master-bear-maker, Steve Schutt. Then, plan
to join Steve & Friends on Sunday for a special artist show.

Theme Bear.

Fabric Swatch for the 3 day
class ~ Schulte 3/4 inch pile wavy orange mohair, tipped in dark
brown with muted orange backing. In this class you can choose between a
15" standing
style bear. (view an example of this bear style
here.)
Or
a 16-17"
old fashioned traditional German style bear.
Class Registration is $145 for
either style of bear.
Registration is limited to 8.
Patterns to make Fall Theme clothing to
fit your bear (witch dress or pumpkin costume) can be ordered below
or can be purchased in class. These costumes will not be constructed
during
class, however, they have been specially designed to fit both of
the class bears.
This class will also include a
special presentation from Steve Schutt entitled, "The History of The
Artist Teddy Bear"
Note: You can choose to "pay later" when you
check out if you like. We will confirm your space and notify you by October 1st,
at which time payment will be due in full.

Keeper Bear

Fabric Swatch for the Saturday
class! Schulte 1/2" pile brassy greenish matted mohair with
tangerine backing.
This is a one day class concentrating on finishing
and facial sculpting. Your 12" bear will already be jointed.
Choose a keeper bear (Steve's
design with "secret compartment" in back ~
see example here)
Or
A 12" bear
that looks just like the keeper bear, but fully stuffed.
(i.e. same head and body as the keeper bear but with a stuffed belly, no
secret compartment.)
Class
Registration $125 for either style.
